Yesterday, Samsung launched its first-ever Ultra-branded laptop. The all-new Galaxy Book 3 Ultra is one of the most feature-rich Windows laptops out there. The machine is now available for pre-order and will go on sale globally on February 22. In the meantime, the company has released multiple promo videos for the device on Youtube. The videos highlight the key specs, features, and design of the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra.

The first video introduces the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra to the world. The laptop emerges out slicing a rock, which should be a reference to its powerful internals. Samsung emphasizes the big and bright 3K Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, large trackpad, and extensive set of ports on the machine. It goes into detail about those in the second video, which begins with the unboxing of the laptop.

Samsung first takes out the charger that comes bundled in the retail box. It is a compact power brick (75×70 mm) that can refuel the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra, which packs a 76Wh battery, at 100W speeds. A USB Type-C to Type-C cable also comes in the package. Putting those aside, we have the main machine painted in Graphite. Samsung reminds everyone that the laptop measures 16.5mm in thickness and weighs just 1.79 Kg.

However, don’t get fooled by its slim and lightweight nature. The Galaxy Book 3 Ultra doesn’t compromise on power and performance. You get an HDMI 2.0 and two USB Type-C (Thunderbolt 4) ports on the left side, while a microSD slot, a USB Type-A port, and a 3.5mm jack sit on the right side. This machine comes with a capacitive fingerprint scanner for easy unlocking and biometrics authentication via Samsung Pass.

Samsung then showcases its 16-inch display, 1080p wide-angle front-facing camera, and 5.28mm slim bezels before going into the internals. The Galaxy Book 3 Ultra is available in 13th Gen Intel Core i9 and Core i7 processor variants, paired with Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050/4070 GPU, up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 1TB SSD. You get an AKG-tuned quad-speaker system with Dolby Atmos support.

The Galaxy Book 3 Ultra isn’t the only laptop Samsung launched yesterday. The company also unveiled the Galaxy Book 3 Pro and Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360. The latter features a 360-degree hinge that allows you to use the laptop in tablet mode. This machine supports S Pen input, with the accessory bundled in the retail box. It shares a lot of specs with the Ultra model, including the display, ports, fingerprint scanner, camera, and speakers. Watch Samsung’s official unboxing of the Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 below.
