But for some reason, Google is now taking this band color option away from their official website, pushing potential buyers to third-party brown leather bands.
The Pixel Watch Linen leather band became official with the launch of the first smartwatch from Google. Now with the launch of the brand’s second smartwatch, this impressive color option for the band is exiting. This is not to say that Google is no longer selling leather watch bands, just the brown color option is being affected by this change.
The Pixel Watch Linen leather band is not the only band color option that Google is killing
With the launch of the new Pixel Watch 2, the brand has been making tons of changes to its watch accessories. Some of these changes impact the sizes bands will ship out, with limiting the options to just two picks. Other changes impact the cases that the new Watch 2 will use, as they’ll be slightly different from the cases of the original Pixel Watch.
Yet another change coming to the Google Pixel Watch line-up is the removal of some band color options. The latest band to get kicked out of the official Google Pixel store is the Linen brown leather band. This option gave users a two-tone finish with gold hardware giving it a more premium finish.
Aside from the brown leather band in consideration in this article, Google is also killing other color options. The Lemongrass band color option made its appearance with the original Pixel Watch but is no longer available for purchase. Those hoping to purchase any of these band options should consider searching anywhere other than the Google official website.
With the new Pixel Watch, Google still offers users other leather watch band options. The leather options available for purchase from Google are the two-toned leather (no brown) and crafted leather bands. For something a bit similar to brown, users can go for the Porcelain color option that is available on the two-tone leather band.
But if Porcelain doesn’t do it for you, then you might need to look to other band manufacturers. Other retailers might also have the two-toned brown and gold Pixel Watch Linen leather band available for sale as well. Buyers of the Google Pixel Watch can also consider other color options that the brand offers for purchase.
