GPU prices have been quite high for this generation but you can still find one at a reasonable price, like this ASUS ROG Strix RTX 4070 Ti GPU that’s on sale for $150 off.
Usually this GPU retails for about $1,049.99 but Amazon currently has it on sale for $899.99. At this price it’s worth considering over a standard RTX 4070 graphics card due to notable gains in performance. In fact with this card you can end up with comparable performance to an RTX 3080 Ti. This uses a three-fan, 3.15-slot design that ASUS says is maximized for airflow. Basically you should expect continued great performance thanks to the fans helping to keep temperatures at a reasonable level.
Speaking of the airflow, the diecast metal frame was designed in such a way to hug the PCB to where airflow is directed in a very specific way. It also features support for ASUS’s Aur Sync RGB lighting for a little extra pizzaz.
Since this is an RTX 40-series graphics card it has support for NVIDIA DLSS 3 for added frame rate boosts without having to take a huge hit to the visual quality. Now this is a pretty big card as all the 40-series graphics cards are. But it’ll be relatively quiet. Or at least quieter than you’d expect while under heavy loads from intensive games and other tasks.
