MSI gaming laptops and desktops are getting some deep discounts as part of Amazon’s Black Friday sale, with some units dropping in price by as much as $500. There are a few deals available but the two best deals are on the MSI Katana 15 and the MSI Stealth 17 Studio. We’d consider the Katana 15 the best deal of the bunch. As it’s been lowered in price from $1,379 to $1,199.99, and it comes with a lot of really great specs that will result in an awesome gaming experience at a reasonable price.
You get an RTX 4070 GPU alongside a 13th Gen Intel Core i7 CPU and 16GB of RAM. The 15.6-inch FHD display also has a 144Hz refresh rate. This is a great start for playing games at decently high graphics quality along with a buttery smooth frame rate where needed. And for $1,199.99 it’s a pretty good little setup. If you need something more powerful then MSI has the Stealth 17 Studio. This comes with some major upgrades like the RTX 4080 GPU, a 17.3-inch QHD display with a 240Hz refresh rate, and 32GB of RAM with an Intel 13th Gen Core i9 CPU.
Those upgrades do of course some at a cost, but MSI has dropped its price from $2,799.99 to $2,399.99 so you still save $400. In terms of the biggest discount, MSI is now offering the MSI Creator M16 for $500 off. Coming down from $1,599.99 to $1,099.99. This is an excellent discount but there are some things to be aware of. Its QHD screen only has a 60Hz refresh rate. So by comparison it’s slower than the MSI Katana 15 and if your main concern is playing games, the Katana 15 is a better option.
