Unless you absolutely love vacuuming the floors yourself, which let’s be honest is unlikely, you want a robot vacuum like the Shark Matrix in your life. Why you ask? Well for starters it has advanced home mapping so it knows where to clean around your home. Making sure it gets every inch of your floor space freeing it up of any dirt, dust, and debris. But it gets even better because the Matrix will also empty its own dust bin.
One pain point of this kind of design is that things are usually emptied into an internal bag. Which eventually fills up and has to be replaced. But not with the Matrix. It’ll hold up to 30 days worth of dirt and debris and when it fills up simply empty the base station bin.
Once it finishes a cleaning session or the dust bin fills up, whichever comes first, it’ll head back to the base station. At this point the base station will empty the dust bin so it’s ready for a fresh round of cleaning.
If the cleaning session is done then the Matrix will stay and charge back up. Or if it had to stop in the middle of a cleaning session it’ll head back out to continue until things are complete. That being said, the Matrix also covers more ground compared to previous models. Cleaning up to two times the amount of surface area before it has to head back.
